MARKETING EXECUTIVE

Job Summary:
- Fixed term contract for 6 months with a view to ongoing consultancy work thereafter.
- Salary 4k per month.
- Full time Mon to Fri 9-5 day time hours.
We are celebrating 40 years of being a successful, family-owned restaurant.
We are marking this milestone by venturing into the world of marketing.
We need professional input to expand our customer base among local businesses, promote our USPs – a stunning, expanded Terrace, a wonderful newly opened garden to make our magical medieval function room even more attractive.
We need to celebrate the diversity of our Private Dining options and professional expertise, maximise our leverage with business partners such as Square Meal, Open Table, Hardens, Design my Night and Eventbright. And drive us onto the electronic highway.
Part of the remit will be to supervise upgrading of:
- The quality of our newsletters.
- Our photographic library.
- Web site.
Ideal candidate:
- 2 years marketing experience with campaign management exposure.
- Marketing qualification desirable.
- Experience within an online or digital environment.
- Excellent product knowledge.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Responds quickly to drive business through periods of low demand.
- Takes the initiative.
- Excellent time management.
- Supportive / Team player.
- Proactive in all sales and marketing.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Target Driven.
- Understands the MICE Market.
- Must have restaurant hospitality marketing experience.
The Job:
- Six intensive months of creating a whole new marketing resource, followed by a consultancy to ensure that standards set are maintained.
The package.
- £4k per month for six months.
- Consultancy by negotiation.
